Today's offering is a photo of my Malla beads. They're used in Buddhist meditation when reciting a mantra. There are 108 beads on a string and the mantra should be repeated that many times - guess like the Catholic Rosary. Being wooden they have a lovely tactile quality which makes them nice to hold whilst chanting.x
