This is a picture of my latest section of work for college. You may remember I'm currently exploring spirals (see I can say the word!) and making them out of all sorts of material. This is black cable tie that our deliveries are secured with.
I really like the plastic twist. It has a rigidity that's really appealing. Hmm more things to explore.

Yeah that looks like the plastic "strapping" material that cases of products are secured with, is that right? And very good saying the word! It hasn't got you beat! LOL.
Indeed it is. Well spotted. It's been really usful for this project. I'm not entirely sure how to relate it back to textiles, but I'm sure it'll all work out.
