This may look like folded fabric. It's actually the ceiling of a building I was in today.
I love the very textile feel of this with the struts of support.

It's interesting what we see when we look. I find myself noticing all kinds of architectural details I overlooked before - whether for the texture, the lines... This is an interesting detail.
Look up!. That's always the thing I try and rememeber. It's a good mantra.
