- I'm a freelance hand knitter and designer. I design samples for sale as well as finished garments. I also write patterns for other knitters to work from. I love to explore what textures can be created by stitch and material and that can inspire a more sculptural side of my work.

Shapes and composition is nice. I like the shadows. This is simple but elegant.
It was a case of "Oh I need to photograph something and I'm not going out tonight. What's in my room?" It's quite sad really.
I'm sure it'll crop up in a piece of work at some point!
