I've been working on my college assignment all day. This is a detail from it. I've spent the day painting layers of purple dye over a page and then brushing over a weak solution of bleach. Then more dye, more bleach and so on. It's produced some really interesting results and I need to go away and think about how I can translate these into stitch.It's also been the perfect excuse to sit around and sew whilst waiting for each layer to dry.
